Jas Chahal joined Clarivate in July 2021 as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel, leading the company’s legal affairs and compliance operations.
Jas has over 30 years of corporate, commercial and legal experience, gained working for a range of industries and U.S. listed companies. Prior to Clarivate, Jas was Vice President and General Counsel for Sabre, where she led the global team that managed legal affairs for Sabre’s Travel Network Solutions business. Previously, she served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for IHS Markit.
She was a non-executive director on the board of Active Prospects, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting people with complex learning and physical disabilities live independently.
She has practiced law both in the UK and US. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in law from the University of London. She completed her legal training at London Transport and qualified as a solicitor in the UK.
